Edition No. 5 | 02 April 2015

Happy Easter!

Welcome to our Easter edition of the MaKe Financial Decisions newsletter.

In this edition, we focus on the recent changes to Deeming of Account Based Pensions that took effect on 1 January 2015 and how this has impacted those who are receiving the age pension. If you have noticed a difference to your entitlements in the past three months, please contact us so that we can ensure Centrelink is assessing your situation appropriately.

Given the Financial Year will end in the next 3 months, we encourage you to look at ways to reduce your tax before the end of Financial Year.

ThreeSixty Research provides us a market update reviewing events in Australia and Overseas Markets.

As we buckle down into the year, I encourage you to always find moments in your day to have a laugh.

To finish off there is a sporting fact for Cricket and AFL lovers- given our recent win in the Cricket and the beginning of the AFL season this weekend.

We hope you enjoy the variety in this collection of articles in this edition.

If you would like to talk about these issues or any other topic, please give us a call. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and wish you and your families a Happy Easter.

Warm regards,

Mary Kelly
